On the 8th of August 2024, The SACAQM was visited by the City of Johannesburg (COJ) Air quality management team. The main reason for this engagement was to discuss the deployment of more AI_r systems across the city. Some of the many locations identified as possible sites for deployment are Braamfontein and City Deep, located in Region F of the Johannesburg Metropolitan. The COJ team was taken to the sites where we deployed the AI_r systems at the University of Witwatersrand campus and they were taken through our dashboard which is hosted at DigiMine.
