Internet-of-Things (IoT)

The use of an IoT device to fulfill the role of data collection has numerous benefits. The first benefit is that this system will overcome the financially prohibitive nature of current air quality monitoring solutions thereby allowing for a greater deployment in emerging economies.

The above-mentioned IoT-based system of sensors will produce large data sets that need to be processed in real-time. This is a classical Big Data problem coupled with the implementation of Artificial Intelligence through a particular type of Machine Learning techniques. Modern Machine Learning provides models with strong predictability. 


Accelerator Mass Spectrometry (AMS) can be combined with Proton Induced X-ray Emission (PIXE ) allows for the measurement different anthropogenic contributions to CO2 pollution and dangerous pollutants.
