AI_r system is an air quality monitoring system combining Sensors, the Internet of Things, and AI. SACAQM developed the system to cover large areas that are not monitored by the South African Air Quality Information System (SAAQIS). Initial deployment includes more than 20 stations in Johannesburg with plans to deploy 120 more in Gauteng.
