On 27 October, SACAQM took part in an exhibition at Wits University, where learners from Heidelberg had the opportunity to discover its work in air quality monitoring and research.

Through its exhibition stand, SACAQM introduced learners to its activities, highlighting how cost-effective sensor technologies and artificial intelligence can contribute to air quality monitoring and help address air pollution challenges, particularly in communities where access to traditional monitoring infrastructure is limited.

The exhibition provided an opportunity to engage with young learners, introduce them to ongoing research, and raise awareness about the importance of air quality and its impact on people's lives.

By bringing research closer to learners, SACAQM hopes to encourage curiosity about science, technology, and innovation, while inspiring the next generation to explore solutions to environmental challenges.
