The SACAQM team completed the deployment of air quality monitoring systems across key locations in the Sedibeng District. Installations were carried out at Boipatong Museum, Sharpeville Memorial, and Midvaal Sicelo Library, with one system placed at each site.

Each system was installed in areas offering good ambient air circulation and physical protection, including roof overhangs that shield the equipment from extreme weather conditions. This ensures both optimal performance and longevity of the monitoring devices.

This deployment forms part of a broader rollout effort by SACAQM. Having successfully completed the pilot phase, the project has now entered the full deployment stage, with a total of 500 air quality monitoring systems scheduled to be installed across the Gauteng Province.
