Dr. Nicola Bragazzi Visits SACAQM and Deployment Sites

Dr. Nicola Bragazzi, a leading researcher and a key member of the IDRC-supported AI4PEP consortium, recently visited the SACAQM team. With over 52,000 citations and an h-index of 96, Dr. Bragazzi is recognized globally for his impactful scientific contributions.

During his visit, Dr. Bragazzi toured the SACAQM laboratories, where the AI_r system and other air quality monitoring technologies are developed and tested. He also visited several field deployment sites to observe the real-world application of AI_r.

As part of the collaboration, Dr. Bragazzi will support SACAQM in authoring policy papers that highlight the role of AI-driven, cost-effective innovations in scaling environmental technologies across broader contexts.
